Last thing you did: I was training.
Why do you think you got banned?: I was with a couple of friends and we came up with a way that we thought wasn't botting, but yes I admit. I have been playing a lot for the past two weeks, because I have been on spring break. I have never done it before, but I just got bored. I sincerely apologize, and I've learned my lesson.
Ban message when attempting to log in: a blue pop-up.
What GM banned you (optional): I can't remember, but I remember being disconnected

One of our GMs was observing you and concluded that you were using an unlimited attack hack. We have zero tolerance for hacking and unless you can conclusively prove that you were not hacking, you will not be unbanned.

Hi, thanks for the fast response. I googled unlimited attack hack and I understand that it lets you keep attacking, but what about that is hacking? Websites are unclear about it.

There is a limit of 100 attacks before the system stops you from attacking. To prevent botting.

What happens after the 100 attacks?

It's as Matt said: the system stops you attacking after 100 consecutive attacks.

Also, unless you have information to add in your defence, I think it's time I closed this thread.

Well my friends and I were celebrating 4/20 a week early (to avoid the police), so we decided to chill at my place. I watched this video: http://royals.ms/forum/showthread.php?p=37071#post37071 and thought that it would be a great idea. We sat on the couch (which is separated from the computer room) and we would take turns playing. The attack button on the controller was held down and once in a while we would budge the character with the joysticks. The thing is, we would check on the computer every once in a while, in between smoke breaks so I do guess it is considered botting. I'm positive there wasn't unlimited hack though.

I'm sorry, this doesn't fit with what our GM observed. Had you been manually botting, you would have stopped attacking after 100 consecutive attacks.

I understand the 100 attacks part but if my character keeps attacking how is that my fault?

That's a question that you will have to answer for yourself. Had you been manually botting, you wouldn't still have been killing monsters after 100 consecutive attacks.

For the full 5 minutes I took observing you and your friend didn't move one pixel. So therefor I've banned you permanently for hacking instead of botting, also I've tested if it would be the joystick causing you to get around the 100 attack limit, but as I predicted that didn't work either. I can conclude nothing else than you were using some kind of unlimited hack and I don't think you or your friends ban should be lifted.

I hate to say this, but be honest with me: Is there anything I can do? I have already given you all my full story (to my best memory), and I've offered, or at least tried to offer, reasonable explanations for every curve ball you threw my way. I don't know what else to say! I can try to recreate the situation, I can send you pictures, whatever it may be. All in all, thank you for your time; if destiny decides that I part from this great game of the 00's, I don't know what else to say.

Edit: On a side note, I just had a pleasant dream about getting unbanned :\

Hi, I've been waiting patiently for three days. I would appreciate an update, hopefully more testing has been done on this situation. Thank you!

You were banned for hacking. It is permanent. The end.
