ALL Your Character Names:Aqwrd, a pally 2 bs a shad a nl Last thing you did: Get leeched Why do you think you got banned?: I made a stupid joke in the shoutbox after being frustrated that my yss weren't selling. I said something like, If someone rwts and then buys my shoes they'd be a brave soul. Obviously no one thinks I was serious, as I did it in the shoutbox where Becca was commenting, and everyone could see. This wasn't in game in a secluded map, this wasn't on some shady website. Literally here on a public forum linked directly to me. Anyways I agree I should be punished but 30 days is long imo, especially when https://royals.ms/forum/threads/ban-appeal.204588/#post-1213000 is performing robotic play and getting 14 days. This dude literally spammed gen in his sleep to gain exp, a huge advantage compared to regular players, and got 14 days. Meanwhile I make a stupid joke outside the game and get 30 days and am forced to miss the rest of the funnest event I've been a part of. I feel like 7 days sends a good message. Anyways this is ironic considering some of my forum posts, hope you get a kick out of it. Ban message when attempting to log in: What GM banned you (optional): Either Matt or Kenny, I know they enjoyed it.
The way your message in the forum shoutbox was worded could be construed two different ways, both of which are considered RWT (Real World Trade): You wanted to sell an item for real money. You wanted somebody to obtain Mesos with real money to then purchase your item. RWT as this is one of the most damaging forms of abuse and therefore we have a very strict policy against it. We already took leniency by issuing a 30 day ban instead of a permanent ban in this instance. Unfortunately your comment regarding a user who left a weight on their keyboard and was caught casting Shining Ray repeatedly in a Town is not comparable to RWT. Even if the user was able to gain some EXP, this pales in comparison to a users being able to gain real money or Mesos purchased with real money via RWT. And whether or not the act of RWT was actually committed, we need to have a firm stance against any potential advertisement or enticement of doing so. There is a possibility that somebody could have been enticed by your message and then went ahead and performed RWT, or proceeded to give you a RWT offer.
