Hi all, I want some advice on what my skill-build should be as a chief bandit. I've read the wonderful guide by @Marty, as well as several other bandit guides online, but I'm still not clear as to what exactly the CB skill Chakra does... Can someone explain how Chakra works. Give me an example scenario of why I would want to have Chakra in the game. I need an explanation that an infant could understand, apparently, because I'm just not getting this skill or maybe I'm just not getting its usefulness. Is there any argument to be had for maxing Pick Pocket over Chakra?
IIRC chakra just heals you if you are below 50% hp but is pretty useless since you can only use it if you are not being attacked. Has a lovely animation tho! Pickpocket was mainly a skill to go along with meso explosion but its pretty lacklustre and doesn't really do much either. My point is that you probably won't use either so it's up to you what to max first.
Chakra heals your HP by a certain (or total) amount, depending on the skill level, while also providing you a shield with extra magic and weapon defense while it does. in order to do so, you must cast it when your HP is below 50%. as for my personal experience, chakra has saved my butt at least 15 times when I used to boss a lot! before getting assassinate to a pertinent level, I used to have chakra on my 'V' key. that means, whenever I was dropping mesos to bomb, and got hit -50% down, chakra would cast itself and heal me without losing dropping speed when trying to eat a potion. I was self-confident that I wouldn't die thanks to chakra! on the other hand, the function of pickpocket's cool, but doesn't work as great as intended. it sure makes monsters drop a TON of coins and bucks around that you can explode anytime, but the mesos amount in them are not as great as a couple 5,000 mesos bag dropped on your own. however, it's still fun and useful while training. and it's also a recognizable shadower's signature. they're not vital skills, but sure they come in handy, unlike shield mastery (truly useless skill)
