Apologies; I have corrected your ban reason.

You were banned for abusing a glitch to set up a shop in a place where it should not be able to be set up. You will not be unbanned.

How? I placed it in an open spot right at the edge, it want over anyone else's shop

Edit: How? I placed it in an open spot right at the edge, it wasn't overlapping anyones shop (as in like directly infront of it)

Your shop is the one between Dumbler's and Koalas'. You should not be able to open that shop while those two exist, but you did.

Oh, I thought it was a free spot! i thought overlapping was like one right on top of the other :0 Didn't know it was a glitch. because wouldn't it say "your shop cannot be opened here" if it couldn't fit?

Edit: Overall i didnt know it was a glitch, i just thought i got into the tight spot. and was like "hurray, a fm 4 spot!"
Also! Looked at the past 3 ban appeals (including mine) we all got banned for similar reasons, just curious why couldnt you have just closed the shop and warn us? We all most likely didnt think it was a glitch and that we just barely made it between the other stores

Edit 2: So the jump-n-setup thing is considered a glitch (was informed by a friend). I joined in feb, and was shown this to me by a long time player, so i assumed i was able to do this. I also seen many people do this as well to fit into tight spots(not trying to bring others down with me).

yes first time I've seen that thread, I now know that, but i think you should put it up somewhere for more people to see (as in what not to do) because I didnt know it was a glitch. I know that isnt an excuse to be unbanned but i wish i could have just been told to take it down instead of instantly getting a 3 day ban :c.

Edit: me and (forum name) sangablue fell under the same thing.

felt like i was a part of a "bait car" show. but bait car represents an fm spot but im no a criminal. my mom and parol officer to can vouch for me

Umm, no, your "bait car" theory is wrong - we're just addressing an issue that was very much in need of us taking a clear stance on it. We didn't choose to have jump-glitchable spots in the FM - they're just there.

I do agree with you that it would be a good idea to have/link that thread somewhere more prominent, as it isn't placed anywhere where people might look for rule clarification. However, it should also be noted that if you can't open a shop in a certain spot without jumping up and down, it's a pretty large hint that you shouldn't be opening a shop in that spot at all.

Well it's been told that guys aren't very good at picking up hints.
Ps didn't mean to accuse you of being ban happy and that you purposely set us up.

Edit: as of now there are 3 other people who have taken a ban due to a similar reason. I am certain that all of us assumed that it was there to allow us to fit into tight spots, and I'm sure we all understand now it is against the rules.

I know being oblivious doesn't mean we are allowed to break the rules, but I think the ban was a bit much. As browsing through the forms, previous shops who glitched their way in was just taken down. So I just feel we were just left with the short stick.

Edit 2: The reasons for my response is to lift the ban on me and the 3 others who couldn't pick up on the hint. Hopefully it's possible.

We've discussed things amongst the staff and we are going to put up a clarification notice about shops and jump-glitch abuse. In hindsight, we should have done this before banning people, and for that, I apologize, but at the same time, we do feel that players should have realised that being able to jump-glitch into an FM spot isn't right and that other players were getting annoyed at not being able to reset their stores in the same spot due to jump-glitchers. There has been a call for clarification and action on this issue for some time now. The staff consensus was that the current bans will remain, however, for the reasons that I have explained.

You were banned in the very early hours of the morning of the 11th, so your ban expires in the early hours of the 14th. To put it another way, your ban expires in about 12 hours time.
