Character Name: Aury Last thing you did: Training at Skeles Why do you think you got banned?: Well, I smegad "S>this 5$" in response to another smega that said "buy pirate tops for $$$" obviously it was a joke. then a gm pmed me and asked me what I mean by that. I told him I didn't want to tell him because of the disintrest in continuing the joke. then he told me that I said i would sell the top for "$5" which is infact what i didnt say. for i smegaed "5$" not "$5" so he tried asking me again and i said i didnt say "$5" so he stopped pming me. then i asked him later "do you want to tell me what i actually said, since you do have a screenshot of it" and he banned me. All the while I didn't know he was a gm at the time until i got banned and personally I really don't like the idea that unreasonable people are the gms of this server. I think I got banned, not because I was indicating real world trading, which was not me intend, i didnt want actual money for it was a joke, but I think I got banned for just being sassy and asking 1 question. I think thats absolutley BS and i dont think gms should abuse their power like that. Ban message when attempting to log in: This ID has be deleted or blocked from connection. you used an item super megaphone to display a white pioneer overall with the message: '5$!!' then you proceeded to argue with another player (not a GM character) about what exactly you said and the importance of the location of the dollar sign. at first glance it may look like a real world trade attempt however you didnt specifically say that you were selling or offering what you had for any real world value, you simply stated: 5$!! after being asked about your smega you answered in whispers to players that you arent selling/offering any real world trade. You have been unbanned but keep in mind: - even joking about real world trade can get you in serious trouble, often times dealt with as an attempt to real world trade which warrants a permanent ban. - the location of the dollar sign is less significant than you think, if you actually used that megaphone to write: S>this 5$ or S>this $5 you would've been banned for soliciting real world trade. If anyone has concerns regarding specific staff members (aka GM abuse) they can contact an Admin regarding that.
