Last thing you did: Leeching at Ulu2.
Why do you think you got banned?: I believe I was banned for hsing without moving for 15-20 minutes
Ban message when attempting to log in: Banned for Botting
What GM banned you (optional): Jeen

I had a weight on my HS key and was leeching at Ulu2. Afked for about 15-20 minutes, came back and had been dced. Attempted to log in and had been banned for botting. I would like to request to be unbanned as I was not botting, I simply had a weight on my hs key and had to afk for about 15-20 minutes. If doing this is not allowed then I will no longer afk and hs in the future and I apologise for doing this.

Putting an object on your keyboard and being afk is the definition of botting because you are showing robotic movements and are functioning without being in the presence of your computer. I tried to talk to you and there was no response, however you were still casting holy symbol. This falls under botting. Your ban will be lifted in 7 days and you will be able to play again then.

Thank you for your timely response. Could you please explain to me how 'presence' is defined by MapleRoyals Staff as I understand 'presence' as being in the proximity of something which I was. Also, for new players such as myself I would just like to quickly suggest (I know I'm not important but it's just a suggestion from an average new player) that these type of rules are displayed in game or somewhere more obvious? As a new player I skimmed through the forums and this specific rule didn't catch my attention. Also, I figured HSing in the manner at hand was allowed as unlike in Global Maplestory I noticed I could HS indefinitely without moving which gave me the impression MapleRoyals had no problem with hsing in one spot continuously which is obviously contradictory of the rules now that I have found them.

You can hs in one spot. What you can't do is display robotic behavior. This is defined by the repetition of movements while being unresponsive to GMs. In other words, you cannot move around, cast skills, kill monsters, etc if you are not physically there and able to respond if a gm appears.

Furthermore, those rules are something you agreed to when you signed up. I advise you to take this time to read up on them and become more familiar with them. They're literally there before you can even play the game, I don't know how much more obvious it can get.
