Hello. I am very upset to find out that I was banned for supposed "account sharing" when all my brother did for me was name my character for me. When I saw the name I didn't like it so I want it deleted, but the administrator with no evidence decided to ban me for no reason. This is ridiculous that such allegations could be made with no evidence and me stating that there was no account sharing involved. In fact, why would I bring up that I want the character deleted and that my brother named it when I was supposedly doing something I was not. I feel like I was banned just because someone felt like banning someone. It doesn't matter if he "played" the account or not. The issue is that you let somebody access your account by admitting that you let them name your character. I'm not sure what sort of evidence you are wanting us to provide if you admitted it yourself. If you read the Game Terms and Conditions it clearly states not to let anyone else use your account.
So asking someone for a name is wrong? I promise you no one access my account. I logged in and I went to the character creation page to create my character. I simply wanted a unique name so I asked my brother who was sitting next to me. Please look into my reasoning and realize I had nothing to do with account sharing. My words were misconstrued in the forum by the last administrators questions who I didn't know was trying to just put some charge in me for something I didn't do. I respect your Game Terms but I promise you I didn't break anything and that I didn't turn myself in for something I didn't do. Again, please see where I'm coming from and removed this ban.
Also if you are still not going to unban me, can the punishment be reduced? 30 days seems so excessive for something so small. Please see where I am coming from. I really enjoy this game and would hate to stop playing do something like this. Thanks once again
For about the first year of MapleRoyals' existence, account-sharing was an instant perma-ban, no matter how small the offence. At least the current penalty does allow people like yourself who don't commit serious abuse to actually have a second chance.
Does it really give me a second chance? I have to wait a whole month to play. All my friends will be so much higher level than me that there would be no incentive to play. Also after 30 days you would think I would find something else to do with my time. This, in my opinion, is as bad as a permanent ban.
is their not a tier for severity of offenses, or like a warning system? The punishments seem so harsh and direct to someone who accidentally let a brother name a account to a huge account sharing scam done multiple times.
