What GM banned you (optional): Gert and Becca I was farming at Gallopera map, and suddenly 2 people came one by one. This map is the entrance of the bosses Scarlion and Targa, so there are people gathering and talking quite often. I thought the 2 people were also there waiting for bosses, so I didn't pay attention to them. After like 20 seconds, I read the chat and realized that they are GMs and were talking to me. I immediately put down my controller and ran to my desk to respond them using keyboard (took like 10 seconds). But they disappeared right in front of me right after my response. I whispered them immediately to ensure they read it. But no response. Then I made this screenshot to prove I did respond. I got kicked and banned like 30 seconds after the screenshot. The whole process from GMs came to banned is less than 2 minutes...
I'd like to address some claims you make in your appeal before we move on. This is the second time you are being investigated for macro botting, the first time was by another GM and the evidence wasn't clear enough to go ahead and ban you. This time there was more than enough evidence. You walked back and forth in the same pattern for over 5 minutes, half of that time was spent walking into walls and casting your skills when no mobs were around. I have video proof of this. So does the GM that did the first check. When I appeared in front of you, I prompted you to respond and jumped in front of you trying to get your attention. After 3 and a half minutes of botting, you changed channels and replied about 30 seconds later with a 'hi-'. Not to mention this is the second time we've done this to you. The first time you didn't even notice, you logged off after a few minutes. Your claims of us being there for a few seconds and banning you 10 seconds later couldn't be further from the truth. Your ban was actually delayed another few minutes after this took place because we were discussing the facts regarding your case before we went ahead and banned you. I want to make this clear, we do not ban without evidence beyond a reasonable doubt.
I choose to farm there because the map is in an ideal size to hunt with 2 casts of Blizzard on both sides and no need to climb stairs. You can say I walk in patterns because it's just left and right and within 7-8 teleports, there are not much patterns I can walk. But I did go up to upper platform often to loot the drops before they disappear. I rarely walked into walls but I did walk close to the edges of each side so that my pets can loot the items on the edges. And I didn't cast when there is no mob. And I did not change channel, I was on the left side of the map typing to reply you. (I am a mage and I have only 3000HP, I can't reply right in the crowd of mobs.) But you and Becca were on the right side so most likely you didn't see my reply and even didn't see my character so you thought I changed channel. I replied "hi" with white text on the left side and then I've already come to the right side to reach you immediately, but you two disappeared right in front of me. Then I whispered you. As said, this map is usually populated with people gathering for bosses. I usually ignore them moving pass me and their chats. I thought you are two of them. I started to realize you guys are talking about me when I saw "198". I'm sure the first message of yours till my response is only less than 1 minute.
This is not true, the logs show that the GM's were monitoring you on Channel 10 for a while, and then appeared and started speaking to you at 2023-06-18 16:28:10. You changed from Channel 10 to 12 at 2023-06-18 16:28:51 and sent your replies after having changed channel.
As I mentioned, I didn't realize the people on the map are GMs at first. I thought they are regular players coming for bosses until I saw the chat message with "198" after some seconds. And I thought these messages are said by the people on channel 12 (I didn't remember the channel number until you told me.), so I replied right away, on channel 12. I just think of the people on channel 12 might be "ghost" characters who actually disconnected but stayed on the map, that's why they disappeared when I reached them. You can check the log to see if there were any people or walk around that map to see if there are ghost characters. In short, I might be messed up the GM messages are from the people on channel 12, but I did reply immediately once I saw them, within 1 minute.
