Charname: Brotha Im genuinely curious what this is about. I just got banned like 20 mins ago for last night's situation. I just wonder, why in the world would you ban people THAT easily? When you are already providing a insanely laggy server with no nearing future solutions, (up to a year, TOLD BY A GM) dont you think that is punishment enough along with a verbal message saying that it is NOT allowed as a reminder to the ToS that not everybody reads upon activation since its a optional clickable link? I havent freakin' played Maplestory in many years prior to coming here, KSing wasnt a big deal on gms lol, why would it be here? Guess im too new to comprehend that shit, even a one day banishment would be enough to understand/admit to the mistake and move on lol.. The first minute of coming to that channel I was in, I was already being threatened with being reported while being stationary not in a hunt or refusing to leave, what kind of thought you think it puts in you, when a guy with 2 guildies or mules instantly beginto start threatening by reporting you? Ofcourse im going to 'rebel' in such situation when feeling like being power abused as a newbie Trust me, a verbal warning would be plentyful for me (AND OTHERS) to understand and recognize a FIRST mistake >.>
The state of the server is unrelated to your case, we're aware of laggyness and we're working on a big solution for that. We dubbed it the new source. Not reading the rules you agreed with upon account creation is not an excuse to not abide them. MapleRoyals is not GMS, we do have some rules specificly for our game. We also don't issue warnings for this as stated in our royaltips in-game.
I've yet to see a Royaltip ingame saying so, either that or i've missed it by just being busy getting started? Im still wondering why wouldnt you go with the better/friendlier solution to KSing for a first mistake, I dont mean to be offensive, but its not like ya'll have zero time to do so. If every staff member ingame appears to be busy or offline, a note SHOULD and would be sufficient, cmon now So exaggerated
Would be very much appreciated if you'd gave a thought about my side on this aswell... Even taking a closer look what happened prior to the screenshot shown to you
Thanks man, yea I have seen those, just not that one in specific. xd But did the punishment really have to be so 'severe' for an mistake like this? 3 days with the weekend coming up, for a working man. Derp I cannot be the only one who finds this an overkill Edit: Here a skype reaction of a buddy who i asked to join the server with me, prior to walking my dog lol Cant you understand that this was my exact reaction aswell upon seeing the ban? >.>
It shouldn't have been your reaction if you had read the Terms & Conditions you agreed to when you signed up for the server and then decided to violate one of the rules clearly outlined.
