Last thing you did:Got banned for my pets name being "NlGGA".
Why do you think you got banned?:Got banned for my pets name being "NlGGA".
Ban message when attempting to log in:"Your account has been banned for using profane Language"
    What GM banned you (optional):
If its truly so offensive to have my pets name that why was it allowed in the first place. Instead of banning me the gm could have given me a pet name change. I dont know why the gm had to go under cover and act like a player saying i "could" be banned. All i had to hear was "biggy I am a gm and I will ban you if you don't change the name." The whole thing seemed like he wanted to ban me by using a normal character to talk to me. Never was it stated he was a gm. Obviously if i knew a gm was telling me to do it i would've listened

For the record, I didn't say that you could get banned I said that you will get banned. I happened to be in a good mood, and I decided to give you a warning which probably isn't the best idea because we as GM's aren't allowed to give warnings. You responded with what you just wrote "if it's against the rules than why was I able to name my pet this?".

Well, you can technically name your pet whatever you want since we do not implement a curse filter here. Would you prefer it if we implemented a GMS-esque curse filter? That way no one will ever be able to say any bannable words ever again and questions like these will never arise.

The use of the N word out in the open is met with a 3 day ban(we honestly couldn't care less if the words was used in buddy or guild chat). If you read the rules upon registering you would have seen that. I also know for a fact that other users, asides from myself, gave you a heads up about the name of your pet. You were too stubborn to listen.

You can't just give an excuse like "if its truly so offensive to have my pets name that why was it allowed in the first place?". The answer is that it was never allowed.

Obviously I'm not going to be unbanned but in the future i do think it would be best to add a curse filter. How can you ban players for doing something the game allows us to do? I don't understand it but it has happened. Adding the filter would get rid of these ridiculous bans. I've never been told my pet name has offended someone. If you got complaints it would've been nice to tell me instead of banning me. A simple message from the game saying "This name is not allowed" instead of "you've been banned for x amount of days" is probably an a lot more effective way to deal with this stuff. You're going to say "it's in the rules" but we all know noone reads the rules. If the game allows it most people assume its ok.

There is a Royal Tip ingame that makes it quite clear that people should read the rules as no warning will be given. Given that the use of racist and homophobic slurs in public is not acceptable, it should be common sense that giving your pet the N-word for a name is a really bad idea.

Since we (the staff) already have the options to change someone's ingame name or forum name if it's offensive, my personal preference would be to have a similar option for pet names if possible, as this would keep things consistent.

Well i don't really get the point of not having a filter if we cant say what we want to say. It's like saying one word is worse than the other? I can cuss but i cant name my pet the "n word". What cuss words are allowed and which ones aren't? Just because i don't find it offensive i get banned cause someone else does?

The T&C clearly states that the N word and its other form isn't allowed in all chat or SMEGAs. Had you read the T&C, common sense would tell you naming your pet (which can be seen in public to the same audience as all chat) the N word, is not permissible.

Well i guess ill take the punishment for not reading the rules. Just saying these types of things could easily be avoided if a filter was added. It would save plenty of time. Most people don't go reading the rules on forums they just go play.

Whether you read the rules or not is not the staff's fault. By creating an account on our server, you agree to those rules regardless. See you in game soon!
