Not Bug Bishop Resurrection Quest Bug

I noticed a bug with the resurrection quest today. When I got to the step requiring me to drop the cold flame and black book on the cauldron, the items were not exchanged for Caron's Note. I tried this about 6-7 times waiting over a minute each time with no avail.

Kat helped give me the Caron's Note in exchange for the two items so I could proceed, however when she tried it, nothing happened either. I also believe this is a rather new bug because guildmates apparently did not have my problem when they completed the quest.

You have to drop the Cold Flame first, wait for it to light, then drop the book.

My bad, haven't had time to sift through the bug reports properly lately! >_<
