Not sure if this this is considered a bugged quest or even a general bug at all... But I was trying to complete my Resurrection skill quest earlier and managed to reach the part where I go into a cave in Dangerous Sea Gorge II to mix some items. I threw the blue flame quest item along with the black bible looking storybook hoping to get a purple looking book to continue with the quest. But when I threw both items at the same time, nothing came out even after waiting for over 30 mins. I then forfeited the quest thinking I could restart it but when I went back to my 4th job instructor, Gritto, I could not reactivate the quest even after obtaining another storybook. Looking at my all of my quests, I can see that this particular quest is still categorized as "In progress" but the forfeit option is no longer high lighted and not clickable. I have no idea how to proceed with completing this quest :/
Yeah that quest is a bit of a pain. You have to drop one of the items first, alone, and then wait for the reactor to activate (few seconds). I think I did the other drop first for a long time too and nothing happened.
