So i've stocked up a bunch of black crystal ores from training and was wondering if the crystals are used for anything other than 3rd job advancement. Seems like such a waste of space to save them. If they're only uesful for 3rd job I might just merch them.
Do you mean dark crystal ored? Dark crystals are useful for 3rd job and go for 50-100k in FM, while black crystal ores are worthless. Only steel and mithril are worth anything in the current state of the game. I do have to point out that if the maker skill gets implemented in the new source, ores will become much more valuable.
Black Crystal Ores are pretty useless. Probably used in some iTCG crafting, but they results aren't very good. Dark Crystal Ores are used to make Dark Crystals for third job advancement, but aside from that, uses are limited. Both of these drops are very common in Ghost Ship 2 so even if they were somewhat useful, they would cost much anyway.
