Welcome to BlackCatsHT, a point system based, community Horntail runs which aims to help you, guide you through the Horntail Boss, give people who cannot run Horntail regularly an opportunity to get experience in the boss, get the pendants you need and Mastery Books you want while providing a social environment to make friendships and possibly find your bossing partners as well. Although BlackCatsHT primarily aims for the community that needs to gain some Horntail Bossing experience, if you're a well-experienced HT'er do not hesitate to participate in the fun BlackCatsHT is here to serve you, give you the best and the most fun experience in Horntail, while also trying to benefit you the most. We gladly accept and appreciate all kinds of feedback, good or bad, because we seek to be better for you ! Here, you will get points based on how far you go in the run. You can then use those points to get yourself HTP's, an Egg, 5k NX Card, Horntail Monster Card as well as claim yourself Mastery Books. Anyone, regardless of strength or class, can join as long as they meet the requirements below .. 1. Participant must be at least level 155. 2. Participant must have a Dragon Elixir ready. 3. Participant must have Pet Loot off at all times until after run is completely over and everyone is out. 4. Participant must have an open mind and a flexible schedule. (Runs sometimes may get cancelled or postponed due to various reasons. No hard feelings with BlackCats if that happens) 5. Participants must be respectful, supportive, kind, understanding towards each other. 6. All attacker participants must use at least Heartstoppers as attack potions. No slacking ! So .. What happens to the loots? The host of the run will assign the loot order for HTP/Egg/5k NX Card/Horntail Monster Card before HT is dead. Then the host will ask everyone to stay on a rope or a platform when the boss dies so he/she can loot the Mastery Books that drop. The host then will ask for those he/she had assigned to loot the HTP/Egg/5k NX/Monster Card. Once everyone is out, the participants who wish to claim certain books, given that they have enough points, can claim them straight away. Unclaimed books will be kept by the host and be put in to the BlackCatsHT Vault for possible future claims. The Point System To make the most out of everyone's progress, each part will give you 1 point. Completion of each Pre-Head will award the participant with 0.5 Points in the Mastery Book Column. Completion of Legs will award the participant with 1 Point in both Mastery Book and HTP/Egg/NX/Monster Card Columns. Completion of Tail will award the participant with 1 Point in both Mastery Book and HTP/Egg/NX/Monster Card Columns. Completion of Wings will award the participant with 1 Point in both Mastery Book and HTP/Egg/NX/Monster Card Columns. Completion of each Head will award the participant with 1 Point in both Mastery Book and HTP/Egg/NX/Monster Card Columns. Completion of each Arm will award the participant with 1 Point in both Mastery Book and HTP/Egg/NX/Monster Card Columns. If the participant do not show up to the run he/she signed up for without any notice, 8 Points will be deducted from BOTH Mastery Book and HTP/Egg/NX/Monster Card Columns. If the participant enters the map out of the order specified before/during the run, 5 Points will be deducted from BOTH Mastery Book and HTP/Egg/NX/Monster Card Columns. If the participant closes entries improperly or immaturely during Pre-Heads stage, 30 Points will be deducted from BOTH Mastery Book and HTP/Egg/NX/Monster Card Columns. If a participant purposely disrupts the run for everyone else, 50 Points will be deducted from BOTH Mastery Book and HTP/Egg/NX/Monster Card Columns. In a successful run, the participant will be awarded with 9 Points in the Mastery Book Column and 8 Points in the HTP/Egg/NX/Monster Card Column. POINT TRACKER & BOOK STORAGE BlackCatsHT Mastery Books and HTP/Egg/5k NX/Monster Card Point Costs The Mastery Book Points are used for: Tier S (requires minimum of 80 / 60 Points in the Mastery Book Column) : Maple Warrior 20. Tier A (requires minimum of 52 Points in the Mastery Book Column) : Genesis 30 Tier B (requires minimum of 20 Points in the Mastery Book Column) : Triple Throw 30 Tier C (requires minimum of 10 Points in the Mastery Book Column) : Blizzard 30, Meteor Shower 30 Tier D (requires minimum of 5 Points in the Mastery Book Column) : Berserk 30, Enrage 30, Heaven's Hammer 30, Air Strike 30, Time Leap 30, Smokescreen 30, Snipe 30, Concentrate 30 *Off-class book / selling purpose claims are possible with BlackCatsHT but they cost 125% of the Points stated above, and will see and increase of 10% to the last claim each time the person claims the same book for Off-Class / Sale Purpose reasons until the 5th time, which from that point on, will remain constant. **Point increases can be found from HERE ***If more than one participant with the same amount of points are going for the same book claim, the one with the higher level will be able to claim it. (if the said participants haven't decided otherwise themselves) ****Priority in book claims will be given to those who have attended the run the wanted book in question had dropped. *****Maple Warrior 20 is claimed only for USING purposes. While you can claim other books to sell for 100% profit, Maple Warrior 20 can NOT be claimed for sale purposes. ******Maple Warrior 20 first time claim cost is 80 Points. However, if the book fails second time claim requires 60 Points. *******The hosts of BlackCatsHT reserve the right to determine who claims a book in equal point AND level situations. Hosts also take good consideration for Maple Warrior 20 claims. ********If there's a need for someone to dual client and both clients survive the run successfully, that participant will receive 110% of the Points. The hosts will not participate in this point increase if they are the ones muling. *********If there are multiple attendees volunteering to mule the same certain needed class, the opportunity to bring a mule (also extra muling points) will go to the person who has less points in the Mastery Book column. **********Players with already-existing points will need to attend at least 5 runs before being able to use those points to claim an item from the run. This rule only applies upon return from 2019, to the resume in 2024. HTP/Egg/5k NX/Monster Card Points are used for: First time HTP is always free but reloot will cost 3 Points in the HTP/Egg/NX/Monster Card Column Egg will cost 5 Points in the HTP/Egg/NX/Monster Card Column 5k NX Card will cost 13 Points in the HTP/Egg/NX/Monster Card Column Horntail Monster Card will cost 10 Points in the HTP/Egg/NX/Monster Card Column *Participant who is looking for his/her first time HTP ever, will get priority over relooters even if relooters have higher levels/points. **If more than one participant with the same amount of points are going for the same item claim, the one with the higher level will be able to claim it. Looking at the current sign-ups, we'd need bishop more Dates will be updated after every run hoping the given time would suit you in the future I'll be experimenting the times for the first few weeks to figure out what's the best and when we have more hosts, there will be more runs The droprate for books are noticeably lower than old source, most participants are gonna be new to BlackCats, I wanted it to be fair to all. Also many people having high amounts of points but no books to claim as it's the very beginning of the return, it would get problematic and unfair for many. I just didn't want many people using old points to claim books that can barely drop nowadays and coming ahead of the current participants. So I hope you understand my reasoning behind starting fresh with points.

I think the main problem with the point system is that you can get point but then the organizers quit and you basically get no rewards at all. From that perspective it's kinda like a scam. I did this Garbaggio ht and I had like 30 points or more yet I got nothing at all and now the leader quit. If you do split income is almost guaranteed but here you might not get anything at all. There can also be too many people with high points but not enough books
Yes there can be too many people having high points lining up for 1 book that won't drop for weeks but it will still happen on a more fair environment than people immediately being able to claim books cos of the old BlackCats.. I see your point and I agree with it as well, all I can say is, I promise to keep BlackCats alive as much as I can and hopefully with more hosts (so far only got 1 person interested which I'm considering) it will stay up for a long time. If it does happen that BlackCats has to stop, I'll make sure to refund all the remaining books to active participants to make sure nothing is left hanging. I truly understand your concern but unfortunately I can only provide promises about the future of BlackCats and not much else
