With unscrolled gear, a Marksman would probably do more damage around 140 and have max Sharp Eyes and Snipe, but Bowmasters are definitely superior end-game in almost every way. Their raw DPS is a lot better, they attack faster which holds pin better at bosses like Bodyguard, Anego and Crow, and they have the same buff in Sharp Eyes. All of Marksmen's skills are fairly underpowered at the moment, as well; they do have a mob freeze skill but their actual ranged mob attacks in Piercing Arrow and Iron Arrow are either a 2nd job skill or take too long to charge to be useful. There's simply no practical reason to make a Marksman right now, they do nothing better than Bowmasters. Coming from the experience of someone with a 16x Marksman.
