    Hi Staff and Community!

I don't know if a thread regarding this idea has been posted or not, but here is something that I think a majority of the server would love! Although I stopped playing recently, I know there was one thing that really really bugged me and that was "WHEN THE HECK IS MY BOSS COOLDOWN OVER?" Time and time again I would accidentally forget to write down the time I had entered either zakum, krex, or HT and hope to god that my cooldown would be expired the following day. This had lead to my party members waiting for my cooldown to expire without giving them an ETA of how long (which would often result in salty attitudes across the board, or if by god your party is awesome they would wait for you). I suggest a solution would be to add an NPC dialogue option onto the "gatekeepers" of the bosses to check the cooldown of your respective boss- ie Adobis and the Lizard Gatekeeper at Horntail (as for Krex since there is no Warp NPC, I suggest putting it on the NPC where you begin the KREX prequests which is closer to singapore anyways and for Pap put it on the guy you get the crack from). A second solution would be to create another ~gm command but knowing that the server is trying to move away from more ingame commands I believe this isn't a viable option. Once again these are just thoughts that I had! Looking forward to the feedback!

EDIT: I just came across a lot of previous posts regarding the boss timers so sorry about posting about it again but I haven't came across a post suggesting the solution of adding the boss timer dialogue option to the NPC (yet again this might be too difficult to code so it would not be worth it).

Again, it's really not that hard to jot down when you started a run. It seems more like an excuse to be lazy about it when you could just as easily type it up on a sticky note on your desktop. Sure it would be convenient, but it's completely unnecessary. This is coming from someone who bosses frequently and I feel like it's part of the fun when someone tries to go and they find out they're on cooldown. Me and my friends habe had some good that way.

TLDR: It's not that hard to track and I think it makes things way too convenient.

imo its just tedious makes bossing even less attractive especially for players who already think that bossing is monotone. My suggestion same as I've mentioned before, reset timers at midnight servertime like it did in officiall servers.

I would be okay with that suggestion since that is how it was in GMS. I don't think we should implement it into our npcs though.

This would also be another great solution!
It's no so much laziness because an issue I ran into was when I was rewarped into a boss I had no idea of when my cool down would actually expire (when I initially went in or when I was rewarped). Another issue I've seen people run into is when they own multiple characters that can boss. With multiple characters it becomes hard to keep track of all the boss timers unless you make an effort to be organized. Another problem I saw was, I would write down my boss timer; however, sometimes the NPC dialogue became glitched leading me to believe that I was on cool down (happened multiple times at Zakum) and I would leave my group as I wouldnt want them to wait. Lastly, I believe there should be room for slight human error. Everyone once in a while forgets to jot down when they entered a boss, whether it be a last minute peer-pressured run, or because you are under the influence ;) (kids don't do drugs) and I think it would be a luxury to have not a necessity. I guess that's my final point: Having a cool down timer is a luxury that I feel the community would love to have but obviously not expected as I know coding can be hard. Hell I have no idea how to even open a Mac.

If you are rewarped in, it doesn't affect your cd in anyway.

I feel like that luxury would be a safety net for people to have and would make the game easier than it already is. If you aren't able to run, it isn't that big of a deal. You sit out for a day and run tomorrow. That's what I do and a lot of others too.
