Ban message when attempting to log in: You may not access your account because your account is permanently banned. Neither of us have ever used any hacking, macro, or botting tools, so I'm assuming it has something to do with the NX situation. Though I don't see how this could happen, since the website doesn't allow us to both vote within 24 hours. If my brother votes, and I try to vote, it gives a message saying I have to wait a certain amount of minutes. My brother's account is Valens, and he has also posted a Ban Appeal. I read the voting rules here: https://royals.ms/forum/threads/voting-rules.15580/ and we have been playing the game under "Scenario 2" ever since we both started. I assumed the voting system recognized when one of us voted by letting the other know by displaying a number of minutes that needed to be waited before the other can vote. Maybe I assumed wrong. And if we both voted on the same day, there was no malice in that at all. Neither of us would ever abuse the voting system on purpose. I don't know, maybe the website doesn't keep track of both of us voting and doesn't let the other one know when we voted. But it sure looked like it did.
Actually you were banned for 3 days for luring people into a broken channel intentionally when there was no way for players to know otherwise that it was broken. Doing this is disruptive and rude. The server was going down in less than 10 minutes when I wrote that. That's why I thought it was clever. Even if they did switch to Channel 13, their accounts would have been unlocked right after the server check. That was my logic, but you are correct; it was misleading and inappropriate. I respect your decision.
The average player in game would not know that the server is or isnt being reset if they just log in. It's just a good idea to not do anything inconsiderate like that, you never know everyone's situation.
Completely understood. Thank you Sila. On a side note, could you remove the ban on my brother then, Valens? He didn't do anything wrong, it was my stupid mistake. Also, if the ban is for three days, why is it when I tried to log in before, the message comes up as a permanent ban?
It's an IP ban, so both of you will have to ride out the ban. And that's just a visual bug at the moment, it'll be remedied in the future.
