Well English isnot my mother laguage, so yea... There are 3 perspectives to judge that bishop is the best first character option for you or not: 1. Can you reach to 4th? it totally doesnot make sense to play bishop if you cant reach to 4th. there are many limits on Priest, like priest is the worst job to solo(hs only 1.1x exp when you solo), still get less exp even if you have a pt(except you duo with archmage), you’re hser so you loot nothing when you’re grinding(except duo himes, then you’re an atker too) I play about 3hrs per day, 1month to 4th. If you’re crazy enough, 1week is enough to 4th. Although it’s 4x exp server, but IT’D BE FASTER THAN 4x exp. Because much easier to make meso here(one day vote is about 22m), it’s no way you dont have meso to buy pots, you’ll have better gears too. If you think you cant reach to 4th, fire poison mage, dragon knight and hermit would be a good option. 3rd FP mage would be better than IL, Poison Mist is an insanely good mobbing skill. Outlaw and Hermit both have high dmg on 3rd, but hermit has much better avoidability, it means outlaw has hard time to grind, easy to be 2hits by mobs 2. Is your pc good enough to keep to multiple clients? Open multiple clients means you can use bishop to leech yourself, if you cant/dont want to do so, bishop is less attractive for you. 3. You want to sell leech to make meso? Well, it may be the fastest way to make meso, but i just feel like it’s a boring way to play. If 3 of these are fine for you, bishop should be your best option. # If you can reach to 4th, and you dont want to play bishop, i think ice lightling mage, Hero, Night Lord are good options. One of a reason ppl play IL rather than FP is IL works well at time temple, Meteor doesnot work at time temple deep map. The reason you play archmage for the first character is preparing int gear, int gear buff your atk also prepare for your next character hp wash. And archmage is the worst bossing job, so if you’re a big fan on bossing, dont choose it. As hero, it’s easy to understand. You dont need to wash hp, and it’s a not bad bossing job. # But why NL? Because of apq release i realize NL actually is the best first character option for me. some players say NL is unplayable if you dont wash, but you actually only need high level or wash little for zakum/krex. So let’s discuss which is the best apq class first. You dont need good AOE in apq, so mage should not be the best. You want to reduce final boss balrog stage time. Short hand job have hard time to do it, so only bowsman, marksman, NL and corsair left(that balrog atk nerf, can only hit under 2k, so no need to wash at all). Avoidability influences a lot at boss stage, so NL would be better than corsair. As for bm, SE may be let whole pt beat balrog faster than NL, but you dont care about spend few more seconds on bossing, you care about get more apples. Flash jump helps a lot on appling, so i’d say NL is better than bm/mm. Another situation is your pc is good enough to open multiple clients, so you can trio apq(it means only 3 real players, another 3 characters are mule, use this way to get more apples in 1 run), then you dont need to rob apples like crazy.
