Hello! I'm not sure if this topic has been discussed here but I've witnessed a few problems of the new change in Buddy List. It's a huge struggle trying to add friends to my buddy list without always having to see the message "The user's buddy list is full." Before the New Source actually came out, characters were allowed to travel to Ludibrium and talk to an NPC that allows you to upgrade your buddy list by 5 with an expense (I think it was +5 for 5-10mil mesos). I remember boosting my buddy list 50 times to allow a 200 capacity. With the New Source, I lost money and a lot of my friends. It's hard to tell who is buddies with who because you could be deleted on their account but not on yours. I understand that people could just clear their buddy list, but isn't it a hassle to manually find someone that does not log on anymore, delete them, then add the initial person? Increasing the capacity will not cause any harm to the community. Another problem I've encountered is the lack of the "Find Buddy" button that was previously a Buddy List function. Again, pre-New Source allowed you to track your buddies in Buddy List without having to do "/find IGN". I know it isn't the most important thing, but it is very useful when it comes to people's IGN's becoming more and more complicated due to the expanding population. I mean, who wants to type down /find xXrS3g7rXx (i know i'm exaggerating, but still lol) Basically, my main objective is to allow an increase to the Buddy List capacity by paying mesos AND have the "Find Buddy" button like it initially was before the New Source came out. THANKS! (also, another meso sink wew) (sad)
I sympathize 100% with you, deleting inactive buddies is something I never want to do & same with transfering new buddies to a character that is rarely logged into! I probably wouldve made a thread on this earlier but from what I heard its a client limitation?https://royals.ms/forum/threads/regarding-buddy-list-restriction.85344/
