IGN: Nerdgasm Problem: Buyback command is not working Details: ~buyback does not work for my bishop, Nerdgasm, but it works for my other characters. I accidentally sold an item that I did not mean to (Beige Umbrella), but the buyback store does not pop up. Instead, I become unable to access any portals, except for the mystic door, nor can I change channels. Relogging fixes this issue, but still does not bring up the buyback store. Would it be possible to get my umbrella back? Thank you. Edit: Time of transaction is on Nov 11, 2018, 10 AM server time
Maybe you accidently typed in the command ~bugback which gives your character a random, frustrating bug. No GM has read this thread. That's why I'm bumping it for you with silly nonsense
Yeah it's weird. The buyback command has a limit of 3 hours and it's super buggy. I managed to fix it by relogging but it doesn't work all the time.
This happens to me so frequently that i completely stopped bothering with it. i tend to throw everything i get from leeching to the npc so i dont waste the buyer's time, then after that, use buyback to check if there was anything valuable that might be worth more than 5 mil. Now, i just take a second to scan through and throw it in my bank storage.
@GM, some people experiencing buyback glitch (where you can't change channel or do anything else) is because those people have more than 250 items sold to the npc in the past 3 hours which is max buyback time limit. I think Karven or whoever worked on the buyback code forgot to put an exception when a character has more than 250 items sold to npc in the past 3 hours so buyback function rather glitches the client. I might be wrong about this but worth checking this out.

I appreciate that you've brought it to our attention. As it stands, refunds will still not be granted for dropped or npced items, therefore no refund can be offered either way. Do you know where to get a beige umbrella from? I got it from a friend a long time ago and I can't find where to get it from again *not in the library* Or is this not allowed either
