    • I would recommend the cake boss has less HP or people deal more damage to decrease the time it takes to kill. This can also be done by increasing amount of people per map, however, AFKers are a problem.
    • I also recommend that people are able to use potions while in cake boss map BUT pet be disabled. This would deter low level mules who are just leeching, but at the same time it would allow lower level people to participate without having to worry about dying.
    • If possible, a system that allows people to be kicked from the map and not allowing them back in if they don't attack for like 5 minutes.

    I agree with this. I think disabling the pets and having the cake boss do more dmg will get rid of all the afkers. Unlike the other events the map is small and there is no way a player won't be getting hit as the boss moves around

    We're already looking into adjusting the HP and allowing potions to be used. Pets I just brought up, and I dont forsee us raising the damage it does to players because it already puts lower levels at a disadvantage. Especially lower level mages who only have a couple hundred HP and can't use magic guard.

    Oh magic guard doesn't work. I see, although if magic guard was enabled raising damage shouldn't be a problem.

    I dont think there's a way to disable all but one skill, far as I know it's all or nothing.

    Edit: I think there needs to be a way to discourage afking though. It's very frustrating for the players who are actively contributing. Since lag should no longer be an issue with the player limit being around 30, how about making the hit requirement to be 80 hits or something?

    @Sila Regarding the Magic Guard issue, since registration has been closed for quite some time now, is that even truly a concern? How many low level mages are there that increasing the damage output of the cake boss would truly be an issue? If you still have a very low leveled character, odds are it is a mule anyways. Just a thought.

    I've been in channel 1 , 2 ,3, 4 and 5 now amongst a few characters. I've seen a few people state that they were dying, they only had 400 HP and got hit for 40 damage, etc. Some people have IGNs saved to make new characters with... you'd be surprised!

    We're making some changes to try and discourage AFKing, as well as making it less difficult to kill (less HP), and enable potion usage.

    Enable potions, disable pet auto pot, and give the Cake Boss the 1/1 attack. AFK problem solved.

    Applying custom skills to the boss would require much more work than simply copy/pasting something over. But we've got our ideas and we will be adding them soon.

    Wouldn't necessarily have to be a custom skill, would it? Can't you just grab the skill from Zakum?

    With the AFK problem, another server that I played really perfected this.
    It's pretty simple (if you want say an average of a 15 minute fight): make the amount of hits high so that they should participate in the fight at least 25-75% of the time. From the other server, you had to hit the boss about 100 times and normally with the amount of players on the map, you can achieve that with 2-3 characters max before the cake died. If you currently have 32 players in a map and it takes 45 min - 1 hour to kill the boss and you only need to hit it 40 times, of course it encourages AFKing, which is pretty stupid.

    Here is just some made up math that may make sense:

    1 hit every second (accounting for lag, slow weapon, coming in late to map, missing, w/e)
    32 players that need to hit it 100 times = 3200 hits x 10 HP per hit = 32,000 HP
    at least 50% participation of the boss = 32,000 x 2 = 64,000 HP
    (short boss fight of fastest time of 200 seconds, that is if everyone participates for the whole duration. This can be extended to a longer duration which just means more hits)

    This just means that if every player hits the boss 100 times exactly, the boss will be downed to 50% of its HP. This makes it so that you pretty much have to participate in the fight or else you won't get the reward. This also helps cut on on multiple mules used too.

    You misunderstood me. The cake boss does not have a 1/1 skill so copying it from Zakum would require making custom animations. Besides, I personally dont think making it likely to kill people is the best option.

    Ah... gotcha.
    Then how about @Buccaneer suggestion of having to hit it X number of timestudents?
    There has to be a solution to these free loaders...

    As I said, we're working on a solution :p Just be patient, we're on top of it. It just takes some time. There are things that we couldn't really predict when testing it, since there's only a handful of us but hundreds of players.
