Closed Cannot get past character selection screen - MAC ban on account.

    Main account: Aambei 131 Bishop.
    Secondary account: Saaf (?) 6x I/L Mage.
    Tertiary account: No clue about my character name, but it's and 3x Assassin I was planning on washing.

    Additional Information:

    Okay so I've followed the troubleshooting guide and it resulted in advising me to post my issues here. I've been away from MapleRoyals for a couple of months and I just tried to get back on it. A couple of peculiar things happened immediately.

    First of all, whilst I was downloading the new client I tried voting for NX (For the first time in months, aswell) and the XtremeTop100 said I'd voted recently and I should try again in like 6.5 hours. Strange.

    Secondly, I've tried to login to the client, and my password was incorrect. I resorted to changing my password using the Royals website and succesfully logged in after, this succeeded. Though after entering my PIN, selecting my character and then entering my PIC I got booted to desktop with an error message saying something in the form of; "Unable to connect to the login server". I've looked into this problem and found the following thread; https://royals.ms/forum/threads/crash-to-desktop-after-selecting-character-entering-pic.156666/, tried the solution by replacing the mr.dll assembly but to no avail. I've also tried the generic solutions of turning my system off and on yada yada.. Same issue kept occuring. This seems to point towards a MAC-ban. I'd try spoofing my MAC to see if it'd work but I figured you guys wouldn't like that too much :D

    The third peculiar thing is that both passwords for my other two accounts seem to be incorrect aswell. Which is very strange. I'm sure I've not forgotten my passwords as I use a password manager and I am pretty sure noone guessed them because they are 32 character long generated gibberish. The emails I use have very secure passwords aswell and make use of two-factor authentication, of which I received no warnings whatsoever.

    I'd be thankful if you guys could check into my accounts to see if any malicious activity or data corruption has been going on. Feel free to reach out to me for additional information if needed. Thanks in advance!

    Even more additional info;

    The message I get when I get booted to desktop is "You have been disconnected from the login server. Please try again later" as opposed to "Unable to connect to the login server".

    I've tried to rule out that it's Riot Games's new AC Vanguard, since it's been causing trouble playing other games. But to no avail.

    I've tried to rule out that it's IP related using NordVPN, but whilst using a VPN I get the message in the form of "This is an ID that doesn't exist or is blocked from connection." when trying to log in.

    Ok so completely removing NordVPN from my PC has resolved the login issue, I'm in the game! :) . Simply ending the process didn't fix it so I assume it has to do with the virtual network adapters Nord installs on your PC.

    So the login issue is resolved. I'm still curious as of why all my accounts passwords had changed aswell as the voting issue.
