Character Name: kymotsujason Additional Information: First I created a new account on the MapleRoyals website, then I installed MapleRoyals into a custom directory (SSD/HDD thing) and then tried logging in. At first, I kept getting disconnected due to the standard "...unable to connect... due to a server check, firewall block...." After a few more tries, I decided to restart my computer and was successful in getting past the login screen. After I created my character, I tried entering the game with the character only to get the "You have been disconnected from the login server" error. After a few more tries of that, I decided to try using the patcher in the MapleRoyals directory. Apparently the patcher found some updates and proceeded to download them. Once they finished downloading, I moved them into the MapleRoyals directory and replaced the original (ctrl-x + ctrl-v = profit). I tried again after that, but I still couldn't get past the error. So from what I gather (searching the forums for an answer), I appear to be banned? I have played with Cheat Engine and memory manipulating with Terraria (because reactions from friends are fun), but I don't think that should have an influence on the client. I'm also level 1, so I can't possibly have cheated in-game. If I'm not unbanned, I don't particularly mind; all I'm here for is the MapleStory back when MapleStory was awesome. I'm unsure of where this thread actually belongs to; it could belong to the Ban Appeal section or the Character Issues section =P - kymotsujason
Ah, that's odd. It works now although it didn't earlier. Is there a way I can close this or would you like to take the time to do it?
