I tried the crash fix with the windows 7 compatibility fix post, but I still cannot launch the game. It worked for a while, but once I exited the game one time and tried to relaunch, I now just insta crash again. The error given to me is this.
What device and OS are you trying to play from? Also can you make you added an exception for your MapleRoyals folder in your antivirus?
Windows PC using Windows 10. I have not tried that. What would I need to try? Just allow the app through the firewall?
I tried to disable antivirus temporarily to see if the game would launch, but no it still doesn't seem to want to launch and I get the same error.
If you have windows defender on, try going to Windows Security > Virus & threat protection > Under "Virus & threat protection settings" click Manage Settings > Under "Exclusions" click Add or remove exclusions > Add your whole MapleRoyals folder
You might also need to reinstall again as your defender might have deleted some necessary files already.
