I killed the clone on my page, lvl 70, got the black charm. Gave it to my first job instructor for the necklace of strength. Went to el nath, talked to my 3rd job instructor He says "you do not have the necklace of strength" when I clearly have it in my inventory. Tried cc'ing, reclienting, cash shop, nothing works.
What does Dances with Balrog tell you? I would presume he tells you to go defeat your other self again and obtain the Black Charm. If that's the case, I guess the easiest would be to do so. Then when speaking to Dances with Balrog after, make sure to click the Next/OK button on his text just to be certain!
Yes, he says "you do not have the black charm, please go kill the clone...etc" Probably will try that, just a bit annoying since I'm doing this on a blood-washed pally and burned through so many stoppers/tp rocks to get this bug sorted out already haha.
Ahh, that sucks... I wouldn't have expected the problem you ran into, since when obtaining the Necklace it would also advance the state of the quest. At most I guess maybe the order of operation happening here is a bit error prone, with it showing a text window, advancing the quest, and doing the Black Charm exchange. Hopefully you manage to defeat the Clone without too much trouble!
