Hi there! Earlier tonight my girlfriend was playing at my house on her own character while I was showering and then she had to leave to go home. Afterwards, I attempted to sign on my own account, but could not access the game or the website. I tried my computer and my laptop and the "We are unable to connect to the login server due to a server check, a firewall block, or other network issues. Please check the MapleRoyals homepage for ongoing server checks as well as your firewall settings" notification popped up. I tried restarting my computer, unblocking my firewall, and resetting the router but nothing seems to work. I figured I might be IP banned but I don't know what I did wrong. My girlfriend signed onto her character at her house later and contacted a GM, Katsuruka for me to discuss my situation with him. My girlfriend and I often visit each other's houses and apartment and we play together often as well. I'm not sure if this could be the problem but it might be, even though my girlfriend and I have our own separate accounts. According to Katsuruka, my character isn't banned but for some reason I cannot access MapleRoyals.
