Can't connect to the game server

    When I select a character this error pops immediately. I know for sure that this is a network error because the game worked perfectly in another wifi network and my phone data. Not sure what settings I need to change in my router to get the game to work.
    To be clear, these are things I've tried and failed:
    - Allowing royals in my firewall
    - "Clean boot"
    - static IP address
    I expected these to fail anyway since I know the problem must come from my router.

    Update: I tried configuring port forwarding on my router (Can't be sure if I did it right, but I'm pretty good at googling) to no avail. Also tried to enable DMZ (whatever that is) and didn't help. I can play on my phone data but I have limited amounts...

    get a VPN. Log in, log off, disconect VPN and log in normally. Worked for me

    @PhunkOnur Even when I'm connected to a VPN I can't select my character

    Glad to see there's a new solution. Didn't work for me personally. An alternative that did work for me was VMWare with a windows 7 OS, however that is not a permanent solution since it requires me (or sometimes straight up crashes) in Zak/Horntail.
