Hi Royales, I’ve been having this issue since the beginning (2 months lol). The issue is that u have to delete the old mapleroyals folder after each update right? (Otherwise during installation the program will try to delete it/overwrite for you) so the thing is that for some reason my pc says that have mapleroyals open so, just like any other file, you can’t delete until you close it and because of this your are stuck at the installation of the new version since it will endlessly try to overwrite the previous folder. Same thing happens when I try to shut down my pc, it says that I still have mapleroyals open. So, with that said I’m giving a solution for installing the new version without deleting the file AND asking for a solution on how to delet the old mapleroyals folder. Solution: once you are at the installation process, there’s a box in which it shows you where the folder is gonna be placed and it’s name. So just change there the name, which is usually something like: [xxxmapleroyal1920x890] If your previous folder has the same name and you are having the same problem as me, then just change the name the new folder there something like mapleroyals2 or whatever so your pc won’t try to rewrite the old folder. Simple as that 2) I’m looking for a solution for permanently deleting the old folder, have tried turning pc off, task manager, etc. thnx!
It's better to install Royals at another location such as D drive, Documents or Desktop for easier editing of the file folder
