Closed Can't done "beginner explorer medal" quest

IGN: KIPPOSHI
Problem: Can't done "beginner explorer medal" quest
Details: Hey guys
I play my character "KIPPOSHI" and try to done "beginner explorer medal"
I visit 20 map the quest need target maps
but system always told me only 19 maps
so I paly another character "KENMEI" to done "beginner explorer medal"
to my surprise...... "KENMEI" can done....
i really want this medal
help me please..................

 

are you very sure u went to all 20? my bishop has this medal done. Do check again just in case

 

I visit 20 maps again and take screenshot
and I still can't done this quest........

 

So am I, now I stop at 19/20

 

This quest is functional, and I can't come up with an explanation for why it would work for some characters and not others.
Have you forfeited and restarted the quest from scratch?

Whoops! That's correct, I overlooked the fact that Medal quests cannot be forfeited. Can you open the Medal UI and post a screenshot of your Beginner Explorer Title progress?

I would revisit the maps to see if the last one registers. If you have no luck again please let me know – there just might be a bug with this medal we were unaware of.

 

Yeah, it also seems to me that this quest cannot be forfeited, and revisiting these places does not help. It would be highly appreciated if your team can fix it.

 

hai so i tried to do the medal quest on my noob. was doing halfway when i realised that the problem could be either kerning city or henesys. My character has been to both towns before i tried to complete it, henesys cos i do dinner quest on it, dooring from hhg2 to henesys on my bish, and kerning when i went to nlc to lvl the mule up with itcg things.

Proof of the other 18 maps being ok:


From these screenshots, you can see that the other 18 maps do count towards the medal quest. Henesys and kerning city are the exceptions. I'll try out Henesys and kerning city on another mule tomorrow or later on

EDIT: Henesys seems to be the issue. Need GM to confirm it tho

 

just wondering whats the current status of the investigation for this? saw someone smegaing abt it just now n was reminded of this.

 

got the same issue, cannot be completed

 

was this ever figured out

 

i basically outlined the issue as being henesys not registering alr when can i get my medal?

 

Fixed for next patch.
