cant download mapleroyal .exe on windows 8

the set up download just fine but as far as the luancher file this happens


the firwall and antivirus is diabled as well as the browsers malware settings
but it still wont let it work

p.s. this is my friends computer having the issue

It's your browser that is the issue. For Google Chrome, follow these steps:

1. Go to your Settings (Click something that looks like this )
2. Click 'Show advanced settings...'
3. Under the 'Privacy' section, uncheck the box labeled 'Enable phishing and malware protection'
4. Download the client
5. Recheck the 'Enabled phishing and malware protection'

 

lol guys read it i siad it was already disabled but ill try agian anyways

 

I had that problem I have windows 8. Chrome you can use that

1ST. Open your action center
2nd. Open Windows Defender
3rd. Go to your history on windows defender and put "allowed items"
4th. Go to your settings on windows defender and take off the tick of the allow thingy
5th Download client and your done
