I've read throughout most of this forum and couldn't find a fix. I started playing this server at a friend's house and figured I'd be able to play here at home seeing as to how GMS runs fine and so does some other private servers. Anyways, I can't seem to get past the character selection. It always pops me out stating "Unable to connect to login server. Please try again later". The things I've tried already are registering IP (which hasn't worked any time I tried) and reinstalling the game. I do have crummy satellite internet, which may be a problem, but I didn't think much of it since I can connect to other games. Help of any kind would be appreciated. It's kind of a shame I have to wait til I go elsewhere to play on this server haha.
There are definitely no restrictions associated with your account. That message usually means you need to register your IP. Could you please try registering the IP once more? Please make sure that your account is completely logged out of the game and not waiting at the character selection screen.
I did what you said before I left for work earlier today. Still can't seem to get into the game. Don't really know what's causing it at all. I've also tried turning off the firewall if that has anything to do with it. I appreciate the help by the way.
