I've installed MapleRoyals to my PC (Windows 10) and I can't open it - I keep getting error code -2147467259. The solution I found when using the MapleRoyals troubleshooting guide is this: "This issue is common on Windows 8 or higher. To fix the issue please go to the MapleRoyals folder, right click 'MapleRoyals.exe', click 'Properties', and click the 'Compatibility' tab. Here you will need to tick the box to 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:' and choose 'Windows 98 / Windows Me' from the dropbdown box. Also tick the boxes for 'Disable display scaling on high DPI settings' and 'Run this program as an administrator'. Then press 'Apply', and 'OK'." The thing is, there is no box that says 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:' and choose 'Windows 98 / Windows Me' in the compatibility tab, and the compatibility troubleshooter doesn't do anything. Does anyone know what I can do?
I am having this same issue. @Dave, I am not using an HP computer, and I have tried using 60 hz frequency on my monitor.
Does your computer have the resolution setting of 800 x 600? Don't need to use it - just need to have the setting
