Hey guys, sometimes I couldn't open the game. It would crash right after I launch the game, and gives me this error: "Error code:-2147221008 (CoInitialize has not been called.)" PLEASE HELPPPP

Close all other running applications and then try launching. I know I get this error if I have discord open sometimes. You can open up your other applications again once the game has launched.

I'll just post my copy-paste for this problem.
This issue can be solved by either waiting a few minutes and trying again, or going into the Compatibilty Mode settings in the Properties of MapleRoyals.exe.

    1. Right click on Mapleroyals.exe
    2. Click "Properties"
    3. Open the "Compatibility" tab in the properties window; Or look for "Compatibility Mode" on windows 8.1 or earlier.
    4. Check the box next to "Compatibility Mode" to enable it. (If the box is already checked, un-check it)
    5. Click "Apply" and try to open Mapleroyals.exe

It shouldn't matter which version of Windows you choose, as long as you check the box for Compatibility Mode.
These steps help me nearly every time this error occurs. Make no mistake, this is not a permanent fix. But, it will allow you to play for at least a few days.
If this problem occurs after a few days, just repeat the steps shown above and it should work again. Good luck!
