Hi, I'm having trouble opening the game. So I can open the game if my VPN is active, but then I disconnect right as I enter my PIC to enter the game. However I can't open the game if I don't have my VPN active. It's also the same for the forum as Telstra ( my internet provider ) blocks the website, but if I use VPN, then it's fine. I have the whole folder listed under "exclusions" in my anti-virus program.
Update* I think my account just got banned for using VPN to try and log in too. My character is only lv 1 and I haven't even entered into game yet.
My issue still stands with not being able to open the game. Once that's sorted I can sort out the ban appeal which I've seen a thread about getting unbanned for first-time vpn offenders.
If you wish to use VPN, you need to disable the fake MAC address - that is what causing the disconnection You are not being banned for VPN usage But do read this post about VPN - https://royals.ms/forum/threads/do-not-use-public-vpn-services-for-mapleroyals.73925/ It's best to request your ISP to unblock the website too
Okay I fixed it by changing my DNS to google's https://au.pcmag.com/security/62160/how-and-why-to-change-your-dns-server In case anyone else come's across the same problem
