for some reason, every time i download the game and install it, it creates a folder like it should BUT! every time i press the maple story.exe for some reason it does absolutely nothing and just erase the EXE file. PLS HELP ):
I had this problem! I fixed it by turning windows defender completely off (turned real time protection off and the cloud based protection services or whatever) while downloading. Once I downloaded and installed, I went back into windows defender and added the Mapleroyals folder as an exception, and then I turned all of windows defender services back on
Yeah, this definitely sounds like your anti-virus is deleting it, thinking it's a virus. Make an exception in your anti-virus and it should work
