hello, I just downloaded the v62 installer and all was good with it but when i download the maple royals client firstly it said that the file was reported as a virus, and secondly after i downloaded it i cant extract it to the v62 folder winrar error says "Unexpected end of archieve" please help wad do???
You could try to download the client again and see if Winrar is fine with that. About the virus thingy, since the client was made by a "private" person, Antivirprogramms will say it "could" be a virus. You can be sure that it's not Hope I could help, greetz Pizza

The reason you're getting unexpected end of archive is your antivirus is trying to delete the file that is being temporarily extracted. In order for the installer to work, you need to disable your antivirus and then try extracting/installing the client.
It has to work. Here's what you should do. Delete the zip file from your computer. Disable your antivirus and download the zip file again from the MapleRoyals site. Then, extract and install the setup. Once that is all completed, THEN reenable your antivirus. The problem is most definitely on your end.
Also have to set your antivirus to ignore the mapleroyal's client before reenabling it, or it will flag it as a virus false-positive.
guys really i swear i tried that a lot of times it just wont help... i really want to play the server, if you will be able to add me on skype or email me the client it self it would be great
We can't email the client. It's about 1GB, way too large for almost any file sharing medium. We need to resolve the issue anyway because if the client gets updated, you'll have to go through the same steps. You need to disable any file scanning program that is running (AVG, McAfee, Malwarebytes, Windows Defender, Norton, Symantec, Ad-Aware) because that is what is causing the issue based on what you have described. You say you've tried it but there must be something you aren't turning off or disabling. If you are 100% positive you are disabling everything, open a Command Prompt, type tasklist, and paste here the output so I can see what tasks are running on your computer.

Use a different browser, turn off your anti virus and microsoft defender. It will work if you follow the steps listed in this thread. You must not be doing it correctly.

nvm somehow i have no idea how i downloaded it again and it still gave me the warning but you know me, i dont give a damn so i downloaded it and the rar didnt give me any error at all! i love you all guys IM GOING IN!
