Closed Cant reset my password

I have my username and the email is the same as the username just with gmail
but when I do forget password it seems like I dont get a mail maybe it doesnt link with it I need help because I forgot the password

 

Make sure that the email address you enter in the control panel is properly capitalized, as it is case sensitive. Also, make sure that the recovery email isn't being sent to your spam folder.

 

I did everything I think maybe my email was not associated with this, what should I do?
