It's been like this for a couple of weeks. I thought shoutbox was down until my friend mentioned there are conversations going on in the shoutbox. Has anyone experienced/solved this problem before?
Does the site URL begin with "https://"? Also, please post full screen screenshots using Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. If both web browsers fail to show the shoutbox, SS your Extensions and Plugins.

This is really puzzling! I confirmed that I have the same issue when using Google Chrome and Safari. I played around with different privacy settings, user permissions, and the like, but nothing seems to fix it. It doesn't have anything to do with any add-on or plugin, which is what I initially suspected. Clearing out all history options, including cookies and cache, also didn't fix the problem. I'll keep testing to see if I can get those internet browsers to work, but for now, I suggest you use Mozilla Firefox. XD
The shoutbox is working on my windows 8 pc through firefox, but not my windows 7 through firefox. EDIT: well now it works on both machines
It's working now (On Chrome, but not Safari) Edit: It works now on both--Only when I add https:// in front. Problem solved.
I'm glad this worked for you. I tried the https:// workaround in my Google Chrome, but the issue persisted. So this isn't a reliable solution, but at least it works in some cases. XD
