Capt. Latanica

    Hey,

    I'm doing the prerequisite quests for Capt. Latanica, and was wondering at what level would be best to fight him? I'm currently a level 73 Dragon Knight.

    I'm sure you can hit him, you only need 90 Acc. He is pretty strong though, so make sure you have pots recovering around 4K HP. Also a few Eyedrops can be helpful to bring. CaptLatanica.png

    Also, I have a question of my own about this boss. It says it should give 840K EXP, but I'm sure I got more when I killed it. Probably around 1,1 - 1,2M. Do you know if this is changed in MapleRoyals, Andreas?

    MapleRoyals is 4x exp. This applies to Mobs, Quests, Bosses etc. Only time it 1x is on maple island, level 10 and below.

    Did you have Holy Symbol when you killed it? That would explain the extra exp you got. You would get 840k without any holy symbol if you solo'd it.

    I just killed him and got 869400 xp.

    however, this guy in this video recieved 1134000 xp.

    Yes but the guy in the video gets 5.4x EXP from it. And that's also the amount I remember I got from it. I too was around Lv.90 when I did it. Maybe you got less because you're so high level, Zynzer? (kind of like the PPQ EXP). This is interesting and I want to look into it. Maybe it's 4x (840K) + bonus exp for every level under 200 you are.

    Neigher I, nor Zynzer nor the guy in the Video had Holy Symbol when we killed it.

    How about we all who kill Latanica post here the following information:
    The EXP we got: (if in a party, specify each member's EXP)
    Our Level: (if in a party, specify each member's Level)
    The time it took us to kill: (in case that would have something to do with the EXP...)
