Carnival PQ Tournament Date/Time of Tournament: N/A To register for CPQ Tournament Each Team must create a CPQ Guild for the tournament Contact illuminate in game or post here to register for CPQ Tournament (include in your post your Guild/Team name and the 4 members that will be competing) Each CPQ guild is allowed to have 1 team and it is capped at 4 players. 40m fee per Team to participate. CPQ Rules If the total unused points in CPQ exceeds pass 150 at any time, the team with those unused points will be disqualified. (This is to prevent players from hogging points) Mobs summons only. No skill protector or skills summon allowed at any time. If any are used, the text will appear and will result into an automatic disqualification. There cannot be more than 1 of the same Job/Class per team. You are allowed to summon anything you want. Both teams are allowed to choose desired spawns to send if agreed on. Pet's auto loots are not allowed. All CPQ matches will be held in room 5/6. After the battle, winners have to Screenshot their win. Best of 3 (Win 2 in a row and your team can advance). How are you going to make this event fair?, your account is cheddar i believe? So i'm guessing other high player prolly done the same thing and these characters will be lvl 50 and funded. To make it fair, Would recommend A player cannot wear Zhelm, Facestompers, Deputy star, PAC. tbh 40m is entrace fee is too much. Overall good event good luck with everything.
How does limiting equips slightly make it any fairer at all? You're likely going up against teams with 90+ attack maple weapons anyway. If you want to have a noobs only event where you're only allowed to use a clean level 10 weapon you're welcome to host your own event.
Lols, you make it sound like we're the only ones with funded gears. From your perspective, I guess you would base that as your opinion since you mainly don't know anyone in this server. 40m entrance fee for a team of 4, that's 10m per player. How is that expensive? Well you are lvl 50 so I guess 10m may be a bit too pricey for you. Obviously there will be top dog players in the tournament and that makes everything more challenging. Also, for those teams that defeats us (team 1 of Carnival), I give will them props and be rewarding them with a prize of my own. Yes, illuminate's finally giving out items which are "grand". BTW, There will be NO limiting on any type of gears. Come with all you got and if what you got ends up being on top, your team will be rewarded accordingly.
I have a question: What are the prizes, and how will the prize structure work? Are prizes given to the top [number] of teams? Or are prizes distributed based on how many wins your team has? Will there be consolation prizes for the losers? Obviously this depends on how many teams enter, but I'm curious to see what you have planned so far. I'm assuming the whole point of this is for friendly server-wide competition, and so there needs to be an incentive for smaller guilds, with generally less funded players, to fork up the 40m to join. I don't think (and I may be wrong, this is just speculation) smaller guilds will join if only say, the top three, get prizes because, let's face it, Friends (no offense to my old guild, I love you guys) won't be able to compete with the best of Queens or Ascend.
Prizes are still being decided on depending on how many teams participate. It will most likely be 45% of pot for 1st place, 35% for 2nd and 20% for 3rd. I'll be throwing in a prize of my own for the team that beats us. Still working on the structure of how teams will be paired too!
Problem is, you can spawn protector rocks (maybe effects too?) and it still uses cp whilst having no effect. I guess that could be disqualifiable though.
The spawn protecter, skills, stuns and etc don't work. Only thing that's working are the mobs. Anything that's used by points will show in text. So if they use anything other than mob summons, they'll be disqualified. We might have to adjust the amount of unused points according to the timer. Changed team formation.
