Currently, the items Map of Phantom Forest, Marker of Heroism, and Crimsonwood Keystone are oddly categorized as Set-up. Doesn't it make more sense to categorize them as Etc, along with other boss prerequisite items (e.g. Ludibrium Medal, Mallet, Marble of Chaos, ...)? I know there are other such items (e.g. Christmas ornaments), but these are barely ever in your character's inventory while the others permanently take up a slot. (Not sure if this is even logistically feasible to implement) Spoiler Possibly motivated in part by running out of inventory space for untradeable chairs
I find this amusing because iirc they were originally in etc and moved to set up because of etc space issues, or at the very least people have suggested moving some of those etc items to setup
just wondering how folks have issues with Etc storage? i have half an inventory of magic rocks + burning energy and still have room for all of these boss-related items. (of course, i have storage mules to hoard all kinds of tradable Etc) do i add a poll?
The untradeables dookie chairs we get cause only our friends and random IGN's get the big pp energy 4b+ chairs Anyways, I don't think it's a very good idea, since setup space is used less than etc space so imo there's no use to changing it up
sry but i prefer space in the ETC inv ores/crystals are 20+ slots, quests etcs a few slot, random trash etc 10~30, stimulators a few slots. we are already bothering to clear etc inv every so often.. dont make it worse.
storing tradeable Etc (e.g. ores, crafting items like stimulators, tradeable quest Etc) is easily solved using mules. i don't like it either, but it's part of the game at this point and almost everyone uses them there's no way to get around having too many untradeable items other than by dropping some of them
Thats a good point, but still a hassle like you said. Alot of those things such as ores and stimulators end up taking a slot of your etc again as soon as you pick one up again. The annoyance with ETC slots is something just about everyone experiences. The issue with too many untradable chairs however is something less than 1% of people have issues with and is even easier to solve by either transferring some tradable chairs to another char or tossing duplicate untradable ones. Chairs also would not be something that takes up a slot quickly once you transfer it as you don't just pick up chairs from mobs and even rarely come from gach
