Hello Royallers, As you are probably aware, we are working on a new source code for the game which will be completed in the near future. With the new source will come a lot of changes to make the game more enjoyable, and because of this some things will be changing. In this notice we will be explaining some of the changes that will be affecting the way iTCG (Glimmerman) items are crafted. The new source will include GMS-like versions for all the Masteria exchange quests. This includes exchange quests for iTCG Sets 1, 2, 3, as well as the Raven Ninja Clan exchange quests in Phantom Forest. Because of this, the recipes for the currently craftable iTCG items will be changed, and here is what will happen: The changes below will occur no earlier than the 30th October 2015. iTCG Forging Manuals will be removed from inventories and the player refunded with 1,000,000 mesos for each one. So if you currently own a forging manual that you plan to use, you should do so before the aforementioned date. iTCG Forging Manuals will be removed from Gachapon. All iTCG items including the new items required for recipes will be redistributed in Gachapon. Black Versal Materia items will be replaced with Taru Totem items in player inventories. Stone Tiger Head items will be deleted from inventories. Pharaoh Wrapping items will be replaced with Stone Tiger Head items. Thank you again for your patience while we work to create a better playing environment for you all. The MapleRoyals Staff
Where will the new iTCG items come from? If from gach, what will their rarities be? Also, one thing I noticed. If Naricain Jewels are fairly common, then the cost to forge Crystal Ilbi will be lowered significantly. If Naricain Jewels are more rare, then the cost to forge Crystal Leaf Earrings will be a lot higher, as they will also need a Taru Totem.
I think BVM prices should stay similar (if market doesnt overreact) but the crafted products e.g. SCG will probably rise in price
Naricain Jewel, Subani Ankh, and Antellion Relic are needed to forge various iTCG items with this new system. Currently, it's not possible to obtain them in game, so they have no basis for rarity. Are they replacements for something like Typhon Crests?
So I guess you mean how rare they will be market-wise? But that all depends on how many people are gach'ing and at what town though wouldn't it? But like I said, they will be just as rare as things have been before, in regards to the chance of gachapon spitting one out.
I guess most ppl want to use their left manuals instead of trading into mesos so higher demand till change comes
Most recipes are the same as they should be as per GMS v0.83, however for Balanced Furies we chose to use the EMS v0.83 recipe which is slightly more challenging for the end game throwing stars; 150m Mesos, 100 Black Crystal, 30 Typhon Feather and 5 of each Tao.
I was writing a long text about how unfair the removal of certain items and replacing them with a worthless amount of mesos is but then I remembered no one will care about the little guy that planned for the future buying stuff and saving up and that I'm just wasting my time so I deleted it.
I'd like to hear your feedback Saki. I liked to think that we have chosen to do this the fairest way possible, but if you feel some things have been overlooked please enlighten us.
Actually I believe this was considered since I told Matt that I save up everything and would like some extra mesos for it.
