Super megaphones have always been part of the Maple experience and MapleRoyals is no different. People spam smegas every now and then and most people don't have a problem with that because the duration of the spam is usually brief. Hell, I'm guilty of using smegas to spam the Pokemon theme song every now and then.

However, every now and then you get a player who just takes smega spamming to the next level. When the smega spam is continuing for hours on end from one individual, there comes a point in time when it's just too much. Is there a way to revise the stance on rules regarding excessive smega spam or give us an option on ~setting megaphones disableall to block out a single individual like ~setting megaphones disable insertplayername? I don't have a problem with smegas, so I would prefer having another option besides turning off all smegas.

Is excessive smega spam bannable under this rule under the T&C?
Objectionable Behavior (Disruption) - The act of engaging in any sort of action that is deemed to be excessively disruptive to the individuals around you, including spamming or flooding chat or skills

If excessive Super Megaphone spam is bannable under that offense, what criteria must be met for the ban to go through?

10/10 report abuse section is filled with TomBrady at the moment. Please implement
or make the blacklist to include the person's smega as well.

Yes, smega isn't exempted from that rule. If used excessively, actions may be taken.

Yo' @Kai Just to be clear with the rule (it seems absurd to me):
How many smegas are considered "spam"?
Could you give us an exact figure? How much is "spam" for you? 3 smegas? 5 smegas? 10 smegas?

It's not the quantity, but rather more of the content. You can send 10 smegas and they are all for different purposes (congrats someone, buy/sell/trade stuffs, recruiting zak) and it's fine. But if you send 10 smega and they're all the same kind of crap (basically nonsense), then you're liable for a ban. And yes, if you play a part in a spam, you're liable as well (prominently a few months back when someone started doing the counting, and the whole chat box got flooded with over 60 smegas basically just doing "1.2.3.4.5.....60".

Ive said it a million times before, I'm all for less moderation in certain areas like what people say, but this is one of those areas i am absolutely fine with there being stricter rules on. Nobody needs to use 20 or more smegas of nonsense and intentionally bother an entire server of players. And there are cases where it goes even beyond the example I gave. If a command is brought back that lets us toggle smegas or toggle an individual players smegas then I'd be perfectly fine with loosening the smega rule.

With that said I support readding smega commands and would prefer one that blocks individuals smegas

Maybe add a limit use per hours should be a good idea.

Cooldown for smega use would reduce the spam.
15~20 seconds for each smega sounds good.

And also, if possible, being able to block certain's player smegas would be awesome too.

Having people banned for smega'ing sounds a bit too much if there is a way for anyone to hide it.

A new command to block out smegas from an individual would be nice so we don't need to deal with this

How is that guy not banned yet? Does it not constitute as spamming or flooding message box?

And that Nullpro has some real intelligence. Advertising that website to the whole world. Good job, real good job.
