I didn't know where to ask this, apologies. So, I asked the other day why opening registration/fixing character creation wasn't an absolute priority since it stops new people from joining us. The response given was that you don't feel the server is in a presentable condition for new players yet or that you want to ensure the game is working mostly as intended, so you're not giving new players an unfinished experience. Something along those lines anyway. But to me that only makes sense as a reason for preventing new accounts being made. I was wondering, why isn't fixing character creation still a major priority? That doesn't affect new players at all. I can't speak for others but all I want to do right now is be able to create a new character to play because I want something different from my 1 character (buccaneer). Surely other people must be dying to create new characters too?
I really want to create a new character+some mules to store my stuff I'm farming+gacha after the next update I can understand why registration is disabled right now, but at least make character creation possible again
From what I observed, they disabled account/character creation due to lack of proper in-game monitoring tools (GM commands, autoban, whatever that deals with hackers). That being said, may directly cause an increase in number of hackers (just look at the report abuse section). But there may be more reasons behind it which are not publicly announced.
That is kind of what I am saying though, if there's a lack of those tools as you say, or whatever reason they have, then in my eyes it should be priority to fix those reasons also. Perhaps it is already, but there's no way to know as whoever is in the know hasn't posted anything about it.
Oops didn't read it well. I think they're just prioritizing based on difficulty of a feature. There were instances it was mentioned in the shoutbox. Let's hope that after CS is fully functional, the rest will follow suit soon...
same i got 2.1b on every single mule i have. i kinda wanna hold more meso thanx. please let us make characters if not registration
