Clarification Regarding Vote Abuse Policies

Hi,

I am relatively new to this server, only starting late December last year. First and foremost, I am sincerely amazed and grateful for the tremendous amount of work our administrators and moderators are putting in to keep the game in balance. I am however, a little disturbed by the sheer number of ban appeals coming up each day, with a sizeable proportion as a result of vote abuse. As a cautious individual, I cannot help but be alarmed by the above mentioned fact. Therefore, I would like to clarify if whatever I am doing now is all clear.

I am the only person in my household playing on this server and hence, the only person voting on a daily basis. I only own one account and vote using that very account every 24 hours or longer, usually around 1300hrs and 1400hrs (server time). I am aware that so long as I do not attempt to vote more than once every 24 hours as an individual, all should be good. However, I am not entirely sure if it is alright to vote through multiple channels, namely my phone and trusty laptop, while tapping into different networks. Because I do not readily have access to my laptop (which I play the game on), I vote on my phone too, tapping into free local Wifi and my own mobile data.

I am urged to write up this post because I do face certain unusual issues when voting through my phone, especially when tapping on my own mobile data. Because I set an alarm to go off every 24 hours (+~2 minutes after each day's vote to account for the time taken during the voting process) to notify myself when I can vote again (I'm not sure if I'm the only nut that does this ), I typically do not face any issues when voting on my account. However, on some occasions, when voting through my mobile data during my specified time to vote, there are instances whereby I am told to wait another 200+ minutes. But fully aware that it is clearly 24 hours or longer since my last vote, I would immediately try tapping into my free local Wifi or home Wifi to vote and it apparently works, despite telling me to wait further when using my mobile data before. Just as a precaution, I must stress that I only vote once after 24 hours or more and am by no means trying to bypass the limitation to vote once daily.

If there is anyone that would be kind enough to enlighten me on my situation, I would greatly appreciate your advice (and also your time looking through my long post ).
