Where are you having an issue(s): Right after launching the client, client with white screen pops up, sits there for 10 seconds, then closes. No error message or anything.

Date and Time when issue(s) occurred (GMT): 11:51am GMT+1

Details of the issue: Haven't played in a year, downloaded and installed the client today. Closes soon after launching, doesn't get to the login screen. I've added MapleRoyals.exe to the Windows Firewall exception and added both the MapleRoyals folder and Mapleroyals.exe into the Windows Defender Antivirus exceptions.
I've also followed the Troubleshooting FAQ and was told to make a thread here.

What error code were you given(if any): N/A

If it can be replicated, please provide a screenshot or recording of the issue occurring:

    Thanks!

When this tends to happen, it is usually caused by a shortage of memory resources which causes the sudden shutdown of certain programs using a certain degree of system resources, this is a built-in or otherwise system-integrated precaution to bring back enough resources to maintain normal system operations. I would check task manager to see what other resources are eating up your memory and to inform you well in advance, Google Chrome utilizes a huge bunch chunk of memory with a potential memory utilization of up to 100% despite the 50% being the average for some and in some cases, not just for memory but also the CPU in question. If you've had Google Chrome open whilst have MapleRoyals open, it would be advisable to close it out before continuing on with your gameplay. I hope this helps you out. If this doesn't resolve this, the only other thing it could possibly be is a memory leak which is not likely given that there's not been one in quite a while.
