common thing in pierre

hi everyone,
i wanted to bring up somthing that i feel is stupid in general and today i had the opportunity to witness it in a new way.
the pheanomenon of people refuse to play the game as it is, for the silly advantage/use of a mechanic

right u can get mroe hits if everyone cooperate, but guess what not everyone care that ur that stingy or ttryin to min max a community event.
where ever pierre goes i go
if he's in the corner with the "majority" so be it and if not u can also move away from the corner.
again, im not tellin you how to play just like im not going to follow your way if i dont want to.
be humane is better then takin a minute off the boss that is x20 every 4 hours.....

Pierre is already the worst Event Boss in the game. The Toxicity he brings just makes it worse.

What is common sense? The fact that all this is head canon?

I don't believe the boss mechanics have actually been confirmed officially, and there's obvious instances where pierre teleports and does not immediately move towards the players. In fact pierre would hang facing away. It should be common sense that if you want a fast clear, you need to move into pierre as pierre also moves towards the characters to cut down on move distance.

If you dont wanna be lazy cc20 pierre waiting for you, so you can earn it with blood sweat and tears and not piss off the 95% that just want to stand in the corner lol

 

well...I do stay >>> lol cos I am indeed lazy, but I also think it's most likely faster to hunt down pierre instead

 

For the record, I'm not convinced either method is faster. Chasing is faster with melee weapons and claws. Corner is faster for bows, xbows, guns & spells. Overall, it doesn't change much. You only lose efficiency by arguing and using different methods. Though this strategy was known in previous years, it quickly faded because chasing didn't require coordination - people just saw clown and hit clown. But the people encouraging the corner method are more persistent/stubborn this year, so much so that they've become kinda toxic with defames and unwarranted insults which is why I do not care to promote that method.

Fortunately, I just got my Zombie Bean Chair so I don't have to care anymore!

 

It's probably faster to hug wall since Pierre will walk deep into the corner and nobody (especially warriors who don't even get to use Stance) will hit air.

 

but you realise that those people made up a set of rules, and they start judging people for not following that imaginary set of rules.

ill say it again, i really dont care that i lost 7-11 fame..........on my 17th mule..........i got enough mules to raise it above what i lost.
its just a very true way to look at the community from aside.
im glad none of those people are in my guild/alliance, cant imagine the amount of drama being created by them.

I actually saw this happen too. Not that run specifically, but an almost identical one.
They are so quick to throw insults and defame that they forget to kindly ask you to join them in the corner. And then they tell you to solo it instead of helping, which ironically takes significantly longer than whatever little time they may have saved by using the corner tactic. I don't quite understand why someone would cooperate after being mass defamed and called "gay" for example, or retarded in OP's case.

Pierre brings out the xbox live toxicity in some players I guess.

luckily I got my fame army. Give me a shout if yo need to raise fame in bulk OP. But in all honesty, this defame behavior especially yelling "defame x" which I have seen so much this year, is quite clearly crossing the line between casual defame and harassment. Everyone that does that stuff should at least be sent back to maple island and be asked to do the Hans quiz again.
