About Me: I am a regular players of MapleRoyals. I joined the server around late November early December, in look for the nostalgia of old MapleStory. Due to the want of helping the community I began to chip in more, and help others enjoy the server more. I take it upon myself to give everyone on the server a chance to relax, and take a break from grinding. The way in which I do this is by hosting Community Events. These event are funded by myself, and from any donations that have been given by the wonderful community of MapleRoyals. Why do I do this? The reasons why I do this are because I want to help the community enjoy the time they spend in the game, I've realize that grinding all day is not the most entertaining thing to do, so I host these events for people to take a break from all that, and also give players the chance to gain extra items/mesos for free. I have also noticed that the MapleRoyals staff is currently in the midst of fixing bugs in the game that many players have brought to their attention such as: Zakum, Horntail, and others. I acknowledge the fact that hosting events is far less important than getting the game fully functional. So, I have taken this opportunity to help the MapleRoyals staff, and host events in order for them to focus on bugs, and hackers. Spoiler Events: As of now, the main event type I host is Jump Quests. A jump quest is simply a quest that requires you to reach a certain distance, the character must jump across several platforms to reach a portal and repeat until the final platform is reached. The Jump Quest maps that I use are Ellinia: Forest Of Patience, Kerning Construction site B1 B2 & B3 Zakum: Breath of Lava, and Pet Parks I Also will be hosting Wager Matches, In the wager matches a minimum "buy in" will be placed, and winner will take 60% second place will take 30% and third will take 10% of the total amount collected.There will be 3 different kinds of Wager Matches, Those for "High Rollers" wealthiest players, "Medium Rollers" those willing to take a risk, and "Low Rollers" Playing for fun W/ little Meso reward Also, I will be doing Fill In The Blank Events, sorta like Wheel of Fortune from TV, The players will be given a category and a set of blanks ex. Animal; _ _ _, the participants will then say to all their guess (DOG), and the first to get it right get a point, but be careful, each player on has 3 chances to say outloud before they are disqualified from that round. First 3 to get to 5 points win Monthly Schedule In this schedule I will follow the server time. http://royals.ms To reduce the risk of cheating, only the time will be announced. I will Smega the Map & Channel to meet us in 5 Minutes before the start of the event. If you're not there at the start, you will not be able to win a prize. I've already recieved plenty of positive feedback via PMs, so thank you for that. We're really excited to get this thing rolling Also, Manny and I are planning on hosting the first event approximately a week or so from now. We will most likely post the exact date and time later today. We are both in the states, but we will try to accomodate other time zones whenever possible. Decided to go back to the roots, give the players a little bit. Hopefully I can get more items and do more like this.
