Hi Everyone, We are currently aware of intermittent connection issues affecting our services. This is due to a recent outage of our DDoS protection service Staminus which was caused by a successful attack that affected all Staminus services. Thankfully we only use Staminus for their DDoS protection services, which is done via our host Limestone Networks, and therefore we have not been affected by the data breach. Because of the attack we have been temporarily moved to another DDoS filtering service which is causing the connection issues when attempting to log in, change channel, or access the website. We are working with our host Limestone Networks to find a solution to the situation as soon as possible. We apologise for the inconvenience, The MapleRoyals Staff.
Update: It's now known that the Staminus DDoS filtering has been reset to default settings for all customers of Staminus services. And due to their website being down, Limestone Networks are unable to access the control panel to restore the correct filtering settings. Emails have been sent to the Staminus technical team to try and get the settings changed manually, but there is currently no ETA on when the issue will be resolved. For the time being users should continue expecting to encounter connection issues when attempting to access the website, login to the game, change channel, or enter/exit the cash shop. There seems to be around a 20% chance of connections being refused. I will continue to post any updates in this thread as soon as we hear any news. Thank you for your patience.
