I will try and give as many details as possible. So bear with me, if you have any questions let me know and I will answer them asap. To begin, I randomly d/c, there are no issues with my network as I have other applications/games up at the same time. This also happens when I am changing channels on occassion. I am unable to "replicate" the issue as it is hit and miss but everytime I am having issues in game, I am also unable to connect to the royals.ms site. Each time I d/c I get the error reffering that I have been disconnected due to a firewall or the server is under maintenance. Here is a thread referring to that issue which I am now having; http://royals.ms/forum/showthread.php?t=8404 Also I am supposedly the only one in my guild at least that is having any d/c issues. Also this message is relevant to all of the issues and shows up EACH time I d/c no matter the reason. 1) My firewall has the maple royals application under its allowed programs. 2) I have already disabled my firewall to test if that was the issue it still did not work. 3) I have Microsoft Security Essentials which was an issue with playing the game, but now also have that disabled. So my antivirus/firewall is not an issue here. 4) My network is also stable, I have a great connection, no lag, no high ping, etc on any other games that I am on while this I am d/cing from maple royals. 5) I have all the new .wz files (even replaced them even though they shoulda been the same), I just recently started playing on this server (5/18 or 5/19 I believe) and love it, but these d/cs are really annoying and persistent making it impossible to even get in game, let alone train while I'm logged in. When going to the site while I have these issues in game, I will sometimes be able to connect to the page, when I do and try to go to another forum/thread/login etc. it will usually tell me that it was unable to connect. Then I have to refresh the page until it finally decides to connect and work. Also when attempting to log in to the game my character gets frozen and I have to use the character fix (alot) which I do only to "fix" it and then try to login with my character and get d/ced after clicking my character, and trying to load into the game. That pretty much sums up my issues, I do not believe this is an issue on my side although it may be...personally it sounds like a connection issue between myself and the maple royals server. I have done ping tests and they show 0% packet loss as well. Ran into connecting to server again (retyping this actually because it didn't save my original edit due to not connecting again). The ping is still at 0% packet loss while encountering these issues. Further information -- This has happened to me at least 4 times today, each time I am able to play for 30-90mins and then encounter the d/c issues. After waiting for 30-60mins I am able to get back in game and play with no issues until the 30-90min mark again and then everything repeats...
I also have frequent disconnects like what you have described, random disconnects with no explanation, while my browser works fine in the back ground (I usually test it because of my own frequent network disconnections). I cannot give a reliable test sample nor can I give any hard evidence of server connection issues due to my own network failures, however I can say that recently, as of around a week's time, random disconnections have become more frequent for me.
